Back in the mid 70s, Vince prosecuted a mock trial using evidence available at the time, a real jury and got a conviction of Oswald.
I think Barry Sheck was the defense attorney.
Bugliosi wrote a book (really a tome) based on his theories and using evidence from the Warren Commission and other sources trying to prove that Oswald acted alone.

You'll notice that I said trying
I don't buy the theory.

My only issue is with the statement that it was "proven".  You can have a theory and maybe I will believe it but don't tell me anything is proven either way.

I think the "proved" part  was meant as sarcasm.

I remember watching Vince at the mock trial. I fell asleep quite often.

No need to apoligize to me, it wasn't my post.
BTW, I think I could be wrong about the defense attorney, it might have been Gerry Spence.  :-\

I have been married a very long time.  I just apologize automatically.  I am sure I have done something wrong and hopefully that will cover it.

I know exactly what you mean.  It's just easier to say "I'm sorry."  It really cuts down on the unecessary BS.  LOL

I know you did not buy it,you were right most of it was crap.

But i did do an experiment with the GU and yes i did fancy the science officer(it was a woman !) Older  like i said, brunette and a white coat, but the rest was mince.

Tootle

Thor
It was the only reason i did the experiment !
(back in the days i did not have a care in the world, just like a summer brezze blowing through my mind).

Nah, I've been down that road before!  ::)

With the amount of weirdness involved in this case I find it odd that you would dismiss the Conspiracy angle so readily. It isn't any more weird than that whole HS theory that most of the world believed and still believes. If you consider the time frames when CM was incarcerated it is entirely possible that he was involved in one or another of those programs. With or without his knowledge or consent. He certainly knew techniques for programming that weren't readily available to John Q. Public at the time.
I don't discount anything in this case after studying it all these years because there is nothing remotely "normal" about any of the participants. VB included.

The "hands off" order given to the police about Manson and spoken about by Preston Guillory also lends credence to something being amiss. What exactly it is, I cannot figure out.

The rate of Manson breaking the law and not getting picked up is crazy especially when you look at the fact that he got 10 years for forging a 37.00 check.

It was a SSI check I think which would make it federal. It was supposedly taken from a mailbox, also federal. So if you are a habitual criminal in a Federal prison, why not use them for black op experiments? Who is going to know or stop the Feds from whatever they want to do?  Much easier to use a captive audience don't you think? And MKULTRA isn't a theory, it did happen. Try visiting http://www.theblackvault.com or rent the movie "Sleep Room".

And they were running experiments at Vacaville and other prisons back then as well.

Manson's long rap sheet probably didnt help matters. But then, he was out and about violating every rule and no one said a peep. Weird.
