I think Barry Sheck was the defense attorney.
Bugliosi wrote a book (really a tome) based on his theories and using evidence from the Warren Commission and other sources trying to prove that Oswald acted alone.
You'll notice that I said trying
I don't buy the theory.

I remember watching Vince at the mock trial. I fell asleep quite often.

No need to apoligize to me, it wasn't my post.
BTW, I think I could be wrong about the defense attorney, it might have been Gerry Spence. :-\

With the amount of weirdness involved in this case I find it odd that you would dismiss the Conspiracy angle so readily. It isn't any more weird than that whole HS theory that most of the world believed and still believes. If you consider the time frames when CM was incarcerated it is entirely possible that he was involved in one or another of those programs. With or without his knowledge or consent. He certainly knew techniques for programming that weren't readily available to John Q. Public at the time.
I don't discount anything in this case after studying it all these years because there is nothing remotely "normal" about any of the participants. VB included.

The rate of Manson breaking the law and not getting picked up is crazy especially when you look at the fact that he got 10 years for forging a 37.00 check.

It was a SSI check I think which would make it federal. It was supposedly taken from a mailbox, also federal. So if you are a habitual criminal in a Federal prison, why not use them for black op experiments? Who is going to know or stop the Feds from whatever they want to do? Much easier to use a captive audience don't you think? And MKULTRA isn't a theory, it did happen. Try visiting http://www.theblackvault.com or rent the movie "Sleep Room".

Manson's long rap sheet probably didnt help matters. But then, he was out and about violating every rule and no one said a peep. Weird.
