    I am currently researching stuff and have a pretty good amount of  RECENT info on family members and some of their children.  the purpose of my research is not for a book but just for my own curiosity and for people like you guys to share it with when it is done.    if anyone else has current photos or info and would like to share or swap with me that would be great!!!!!  i guess i am looking for someone to also not co-author (not sure of what word to use)  but if there is anyone out there with alot of RECENT pics and info maybe we could do something together????        i will not give out real names, addresses or phone numbers though.  i want to respect these peoples privacy as much as possible while doing this.  >:DLiz

I'm confused.  I didn't see anything in the original post that references any specific member of the family.  How did we spin this into a lack of knowledge on her part?  Did I miss something or is this just a sock puppet reunion?

we didn't spin it. She said that she was refering to the 'M' family and we figured that she would know who Sandy and Lynette were. I'm a bit confused too though.

At the risk of stating the blindingly obvious, the thread as posted was a request for people to share pics and info for a personal project that the evil Liz would then share with us all when it was done. She helpfully clarified that she was not so much interested in the victims, more the 'family' around Manson. Note that this post may have been subsequent to Franksta's expression of curiosity as to the fates of Sandy and Lyn, but not necessarily consequent upon it. Asynchronous posting can be a strange and unsettling thing.

All the hijacking of the thread has been done by others, with Liz's only other post being a wholly justified what are you even talking about??.

To say We'll see where this thread leads us is to say 'let's see where the hijackers take it'. But it's not got much to do with Liz or her original request.

If the "hijacking the thread" comment refers to me, I apologize.  I was merely trying to defend the original poster who, to my mind, was unfairly attacked.  I will try to refrain from posting off-topic for any reason.

lets start again.  someone p.m.ed me asking when i said "family" did i mean Manson family or victim families like Tate, Labianca and so on. i replied to them and then  i posted that is what i meant just in case anyone else was wondering.
