Hmmm, Stephanie. Stick around a bit. Prove yourself. Then for certain write a book! Lots out there that would read your account of events. At the same time many of us are not Schmucks!

I would be interested in reading an account of Stephanie Schram's life before, during and after the family providing it was written by the actual person and not someone trying to mislead and attract attention to themself.
As Lil said, many of us are not Schmucks, prove yourself. I think there are many, many people out there who would like to know more, I know I would.

at the age of 49, i began my college education. i graduated magna cum laude with an emphasis in literature and went on to get a teaching credential. overcoming adversity has taken me a long time, but i am ready to commit myself to the project of writing a book. it is difficult for me to think of myself as a successful person, but i need to think positively at this time. thanks for your response. would you read a book about the time that i spent with charlie and the family or has it been done to death?

Stephanie?.. You are on a web site dedicated to discussing the the Tate, LaBianca murders. If you have something "real" to add then do so.

As said above, I think  all of us would like to read such a book. But I also think that the motive  of such a book would be important as well.
If the motive would be to give answers and cleanse the soul ,it will be well received. If the motive is other, it will be picked apart piece by piece and debunked by the people who study this case out of sympathy for the victims.
If you read through some of the posts here you will see it is filled with people who are highly educated on this case and VERY sympathetic to the victims.
In past posts you will find a certain amount of respect for you (if you are who you say you are) as well as well wishes when your status was unknown. I wouldn't want to see you lose that. Start by earning trust. I look forward to reading your posts.
Congrats on your accomplishments! CT

Stephanie,

The rest of of the board does not speak for me, I am a tremendous schmuck!!

Actually, as you are probably aware, there have been many posers over the years, so this group is a little skeptical.  However, with proper vetting, you will find yourself to have a very supportive group.  Congratulations on your degree and credential, no one can ever take your knowledge away from you.  Personally, I do not believe that your story has been told so the angle would be very interesting, and I would read it.

I know we'd all love to hear from the Stephanie Schramm who lived at the Spahn Ranch and knew the people there.

But, Stephanie - and geez, I don't want to be the one to say this, but, here goes -  If you graduated magna cum laude, why can't you puncuate your emails?

Red flags o'plenty.

But please prove me wrong!

The term I used "schmuck" was meant only if you were inauthentic. I can probably speak for the board on that note. Still, If you have something to add here, I'm sure you wil be endorsed. Tell us more. 'Lil

I'd like to read a book with insights to the struggles of family members, and less emphasis on studying Manson itself. I would like a book that does not fudge on revealing the true culture within the family, that is not written to cover up through loyalty misdeeds by the males, just because they are seeking parole and because what they might have done to the more vulnerable is historic.
If it's just therapy, not the whole truth (as owed to victims then and of the future) or a money spinner forget it.

Hey Stephanie. Welcome and would love to read your book.

And people, it is her. Don't ask how I know, but it is.

I think it would be an added interesting treasure to the stuff out there.

Once again, thanks Stephanie for stopping by and please continue to do so. Don't be put off by people doubting who you are, alot of people thru the years have come forward saying things that were not true.

Stepahnie,
I want to apologize for my  comment last night about punctuation.  Bad week at work, and I was in a snarky  mood.  That doesn't excuse it, though, and I regretted it as soon as I sent it. I've been kicking myself all night. (I'm having to stand up to type this [owww!])
Yes - please write the book!  The sooner the better!  (And ignore idiots like me.)

Me!
Oh heck yeah I would buy it, and any book on Manson. The subject cannot get over done in my opinion only that is. I would love to see Books from Gypsy, Sandy, Lynette, Barbara Rosenberg, I bought the Rabbitts book if that says anything. Do it girl full steam ahead, Don't be influenced by others but do what your guts says, If it says do it, then do it. I can tell you this people search out all the Manson books good and bad. This is just another opinion of mine but to me Bill Nelson spelled and wrote worse than me, sounded sometimes like a 12 years old history project but its a sought out set of Coloring books. Do worry what anyone thinks because sometimes people will just set you up to bring you down. I am for it all, and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO YOU and all of the Women here it Cats liter box, ya all call Truthontatelabianca. Peace and Love.  P.s. make it afffordable it is a recession.
