What would be the harm in releasing that information? I wonder how many of those cases have been solved since then. How does a person go about getting that info?

I, too, have often wondered about the 30 number (35 in some reports).
With the known murders and even the murders that are speculated to have been comitted
by the Family, the numbers might reach 20.
I think there is a tendancy to blame a lot of the unsolved murders in California
from that era on the Manson Family.

I am always wondering about the three kids in the desert. This was mentioned by more than one members of the family, i will re-read some lit to find the exact ones. Hey Cats you know one that White rabbit dude. It sure is funny that they say the hole that was dug was reported by them to be 8 feet. Why when inyo county officials went and dug, they would only go 2-3 feet. WTF?

Hard work digging a grave. Six feet minimum is law in my country and that's enough, especially in those pre-mechanical digger days. Hard work for lazy, stoned slippies.

But yes, the searches in DV last year did seem a bit feeble ... perhaps they'll do it again with no publicity, and this time dig deeper.

Good political move. Send out some diggers and do a cursory sweep. Makes the voters happy, and costs very little

Never underestimate the work of a poitician. They will do what is neccessary to look good at all times, and will look to do it without spending money where ever possible.

And no, we are not related, but it does appear we have chewed up some of the same territory at around the same time

I would not be surprised if there were as many as 8-10 more. Manson himself said 35, however, much like Bundy he was probably trying to shock than to confess.

I'd like to see a list as well, at least something more informative and direct than vague accusations.
