You're right there was a purple scarf found in the front yard near VF's body. Was it covered with Sharon Tate's blood?
There were other towels (besides the one covering Jay Sebring's head/face) found at Cielo Dr.. I think two were found by the entry way.
As a side note, any thoughts why some of the victims heads/faces were covered before or after they were killed, eg., Sebring -- covered with towel, LaBiancas -- heads covered with pillow cases, and I think Hinman was found with a blanket or bed spread on him?

i'm just wondering if Tex and Katie decided to use the pillow cases because they didn't want to see their faces and the fear and horror on the LaBiancas as they are being killed. I am also wondering why no face slashing?

Wasn't that Manson's idea with the pillow cases?
