The thing with Mary Brunner... my mention of her and the Michigan plates was just speculation... it's just a belief of mine that Manson did some undocumented traveling. I believe that he visited West Virginia for two reasons, it was his home state, and also Patricia Krenwinkle has roots there. My guess is that his travels took him from West Virginia through the great american midwest, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota. The Moorehouse family had roots in Minnesota I believe. Maybe he was just bumming around, and visiting the homes of some of his girls gave some structure to his meanderings.
This is a highly speculative pet theory of mine. My ears always perk up when I see midwest connections to this case.
