Interesing rd, is it my imagination, or , in bottom right hand corner is that someone grabbing onto someones back with both hands. Just above that some kind of hood (turn it clockwise ) and as you say a skull to the top left. Correct me if I'm wrong , but , I think they were still working on the vest during the trial.
thats some really nice work. the baby in the lower right corner is really cool. Now in this i see a lot of different things. Also it was in "Manson" that Squeaky talks a little about the vest, as does RH. He says they recorded all their goings on on the vest. Squeaky mentions that all the girls did work on it...and contributed their hair to it.
It is quite a creation, I wonder how many hours went into thye making of it..........Here is one of the back of vest.
It's an intricate piece of Art and needs a High Resolution view for sure to see all the subtlety. Wonder who has it now?

There is a picture taken of PK, I believe from the early 80's, where she has a mullet hair style. Her arms are crossed in this picture and it looks like she is trying to give out some kind of secret symbol with her fingers! Supposedly, by this time she had already separated herself from Manson and the family beliefs but with this piece of artwork and her secret symbol it really makes me wonder how separated from the situation is she really?!
Yep, that's it Cooltide! Thank you! Manson has had secret symbols he has thrown out in pictures as well! That's what makes me think it is related!
Supposing it is an intentional symbol, and it may well be, it doesn't have to relate to Manson. Between her incarceration and the time the photo was taken there are many other alliances she may have formed (presumably within prison), and this might relate to one of those. And even if Manson and his followers did use symbols to communicate whatever it was they wanted to communicate, that doesn't mean that the set they used was hermetic. PK's intentions (if she had any) might be clear to a far wider circle than the immediate Manson family while still opaque to the general public. Just a thought. Jem

Could be she cut her finger, or otherwise damaged it and wanted to hide that fact from the camera ...
im sre someone knows more about this then me...but there were AT LEAST 3 vests. 1)There was Mansons. In Manson Squeaky says that no one but Manson wears that one. In the movie though Bruce and Clem are both seen wearing a vest. I never really though to try and make out if its the same one or not, or if it's Mansons. That vest i believe was given to Charlie in prison where he cut it up into a bunch of small pieces that he gave out to inmates. I forget why he said he did it but it was most likely to avoid it getting stolen and him getting beat up. What a total shame. 2) Bobby had a vest, I think that he gave it to Col Scott. And i'd guess he still has it. 3) Dennis Rice had a vest and i believe that he was trying to sell it to raise money for his ministry. I gotta think if Dennis had a vest, some of the more established family men would have them. But again, im sure someone here knows more vest info then i do.
