What a bizarre drawing! I see the hand but not the knife. However, just to the right of the bird I see a very large bullet and right below that a knife with a wrapped handle. Next to the bird on the tree I see a face with no eyes. Just a nose and mouth with blood dripping from the lower lip. That is one creepy piece of work. I wonder when she did this "artwork". I see a lot. I see womens breasts at the top. I see the devil just below in red on the left. The face next to the devil has something coming out of it's head. And I see a baby at the bottom. For starters.

I have to admit, i am kinda jealous that someone bought it. If I had $800 lying around I would have bought it, no doubt.
No specific date on when it was painted other than sometime after July 2004 when she started a Graphic Arts Course. Any Ornithologists on forum? I'm curious about what type of bird wears what looks like a ministers dog collar.
@poisonivy I think it's more than a bit creepy. The more you look the more you see. I see the faces and a pig at the bottom of the tree along with the stuff in my previous post. I still don't see the knife in the hand, just the hand. I wonder what an Art Therapist would make of it FB

On the ho hum side of things, to the right of the bird I see a crude windmill, that is if you were to turn the painting clockwise on its side. Looking at the painting as is I see an outline of a person in white chalk/paint above and to the right of the bird. I see a penis directly opposite the bird (other side of the [tree?]) I saved the scariest for last here. Turn the painting counter-clockwise so it sits long side facing the viewer(or turn your computer around) look VERY CLOSELY at the DARK END and tell me if you dont see a few pairs or sets of eyes, white dots mostly in twos, among the dark. They might help make out figures/creatures lurking about? Please tell me Im not the only one to see this. I cant speak for today, but if this painting was done by PK post 2oo4, she still had/has some serious emotional/mental issues 35+yrs post TLB in IMHO.
