I got so busy today that I forgot to post a reminder of a topic that is near and dear to my heart. Wednesday, April 02 2008 is World Autism Awareness Day.
Cool, E. I am curious what your position is re the possible link between autism and the childhood immunizations? In my book it is scary stuff.
I have studied the relationship between vaccinations and the disease and can honestly say that I have no idea whether or not there is any relation at all. In my son's case (he has Asperger's, which is a high functioning form of autism) I have been studying the relationship between autism and overdue birth. He was 3 weeks overdue. Again, no conclusions. So little is known about the disease.
I don't think anyone knows. I can't believe what they use as a preservative. It really makes you wonder just how mercenary these drug companies are. I am sorry to hear about your son. I wish you all the best.
Vinny i wish you, you`re family and the "wee man" all the best. Thanks for passing on the information regarding you`re sons condition. I will tell Mrs Thor about World Autism Awareness Day,hundreds work at BOC,the Mrs can put an anouncement over the PA,hows that. Thanks for raising my awareness also. Cheers Thor
Mrs Thor will put out the anouncment later tonight. So you`re message has gone far and reached many. Thanks Vinny,it did make me stop and think. Thor
E-- My friend's son has the same. He can make some of the bestest ever paper sculptures that are mind boggling to me with no effort from him. It is a very intense thing, and bless your heart, and all of yours hearts... I have heard also about the relation of immunization to different things as well. I don't know about the relationship to A, but I know that the world needs to know and accept people's differences. And appreciate the beauty that lies within a trapped mind.

Not to brag, but my son was able to read before the age of 3. Nobody taught him! His big things are math - his marks are never below 95 (he certainly didn't get that from his old man) - and computers. He usually does quite well in school, it's the social interaction that he has trouble with.
Thank you all for your kind comments. Cats, what does "sticky" mean?
It means it will have a little red pin in it and always be at the top..so people will see it.
And you're watching the Saw movies with him? He's gonna have his own murder blog when he grows up! ;D
