Detectives pointing to Voytek Frykowski's blood on the beams in the house on Cielo Drive. Thanks to the anon donor who long ago gave us this. Interesting to kind of see the loft up in Cielo...
Can this get any weirder?? Frykowski's blood is on the beam where Tate and Sebring's blood should be. Tate and Sebring's blood is on the porch where Frykowski's blood should be. I'm starting to think that no one (killers to DA's office) has told anything close to the truth, the investigators were totally inept, the CSI's labeled all their collections wrong and Coroner's office were trained by vet techs.......yeah, that's it!! FB
And let's not forget what could be Steven Parent's blood in the house and/or garage, when, according to the official account, he was already dead in his car before any of the rest of the fun started. Do we think it's weird now because we're able to do such advanced blood analysis -- when what was available in '69 was pretty much stone-age -- or because it really was done so ineptly? Given the limits of blood typing science at the time, is it possible that everything from the get-go has been mislabelled? Was there enough nuance in the science to say with any degree of certainty that "this spot belongs to Sharon" and "that smudge belongs to Gibby", or whatever, or was this just a) guesswork; b) sloppy police work; or c) some combination of the foregoing? Oh, yeah -- and those glasses found in the house for somebody whose head was shaped like a volleyball.
I've seen this photo before and I always wondered why that guy was pointing upwards. Now I know why. Thanks for posting it.
I suppose it could of been blood splatter either from the gun shot wounds, the beatings over the head or not, and the stabbings. That would be my guess why its there but why isn't Sharon's and Jay's or was it and it just wasn't mentioned?
I am thinking that if the gun bashing started on Voytek around that area, perhaps with the back splatter etc. it reached the beams because of the strength of the bashing... While Jay was shot and stomped, perhaps most of the beatings on him were done while he was on the ground. Voytek seemed to keep moving and was vertical during a lot of it...
If the original house was still there, it would be interesting what 21st century forensics would reveal.
You guys are right, it's probably blood spatter on the beam. It isn't spatter on the porch I'll guess. FB
From what angle was this photo taken? Is that to the door, behind the man pointing leading to the bedrooms?
Cats, you know me. Always the devil's advocate. Is there any documentation that specifically states this individual is pointing at spots of Frykowski's blood? When I look at this image (which may have been cropped, I admit), I see no identifying marks on the image, which could have corresponded with a list of the photos taken by this photographer. Which means the fellow pointing up may have been saying, "Holy cow, would you look at the size of that wasp!" Or maybe, "Look at that water stain. Wouldn't you think people who can afford to live in such a nice house could afford to hire a roofer?" I guess I've become more cynical about everything. I never much believed the Bugliosi theory from the beginning and when Kasabian suddenly admitted she was in Parent's car, I stopped accepting anything to do these murders at face value. Maybe I need to move to Missouri? :winkn: Roose, would you like to change that display name, so you e-mail address isn't on such public display? Drop me a Private Message, if you do. **EDIT** I spoke with Cats this afternoon, and have learned there is information on the reverse side of the photograph stating the individual was pointing to spots of blood, later identified as being Frykowski's.
Alas, but I understand your point. And just because it says that on the photo, does not make it true either... (I know I know)
Isn't the picture backwards? I'm looking at the posters on the wall and the carrot one is on the far left on the left wall. It was really on the far right of the right wall, right? And, the chair is in the wrong place too.
I've never heard that Kasabian was in Steven Parent's car before. Can anyone give me more information?
She and Bugliosi made an appearance on Larry King's program, what must have been a couple years ago. She admitted being in Parent's car during that program. Bugliosi had somehow managed to let his sock fall out of her mouth.
