Manson Murders - Endleman - Ed Sanders, a less thorough investigator than Bugliosi, thought Manson or someone in his Family may have murdered 13 year old Virginia Lynn Smith, found murdered in Cobal Canyon in Claremont, California in June 1969. A man who spent time living at the Spahn Ranch had been dating her. The case was never solved. (S198).

Also, in Sanders(p145) 2002 he says someone in Florida confessed so is this case closed or was it ever considered to be a possible Family murder?

Does that picture resemble anyone at Spahn at that time? A clean shaven Charlie but the age is way out!

Billy the rape thing is not the family signature -

I think there was a serial killer that was around at that time - possibly two - someone held the Habe young lady for several days before killing her - that seems to fit more the family MO -

Also she was abducted into a black car and Charlie was seen driving around in a rich friend's 'a millionaire's' is how it is described.

I don't think Cielo was the first murder for Tex, do you?

That pic of suspect looks dead on for Rodney Alcala, but I think he was taller.

It resembles Charlie at a younger age but also resembles Ted Bundy.
