Fab, I'm still on the hunt to know who owned that piece of property (the spiral staircase) back in da day - have a friend who lives in Malibu that asked at the clerk of court's office but all that land has been parcelled both in the late 70's and again in the 80's and one would have to know which parcel this particular sit originally sat on - All I've been able to find out is the owner now is absentee and those who own businesses around there are in danger of having to shut down because of some sort of proposed development planned. Anybody have any more specifics like an old address?

I thought the Spiral Staircase was behind and up the hill from where the current seafood restaurant "The Reel Inn" is on PCH. There's all that dilapidated motel next to it. Is that where this is?
