Yeah, I'd say it was pretty tenuous. I've always liked the way that Lennon (after a few attempts to talk sense to the guy) cuts straight to the chase- "Are ya hungry?". He's obviously dealt with a few addled trippers before... but he's really quite compassionate (and sensible) about it. There's another classic scene in that doco that isn't quite so compassionate. George & John in the kitchen swapping one-liners about the "Fab THREE" and "Beatle Ed". Then it cuts to them recording "How Do You Sleep" (a song about Paul). In the middle of the chorus, Lennon chucks in "How do ya sleep ya coont" and then stops. Maybe they were still upset with Paul for writing Helter Skelter
Yup- was just curious to see if any other Family members took up Charlie's edict to contact the Fabs. There is a Family character who features heavily in the Manson 2 film who is slightly similar in looks. Anyway, I thought I would throw it in the hat...Loves x
