makes me sad to think but i wonder if that's a similar expression he had on his face when being brought to now?? looking at them like oh my god what are you gonna do?!

What's always upset me is his cry of "Why Charlie, Why?  accompanied with those plaintive screams -

And Clem Tufts heard this - so did Bruce Davis and Clem Tufts was let go?  And Bruce Davis only cut him on the shoulder.

Speaking of the lovely Steve Grogan - I don't buy his pact of "I'll show you where the body is"  as the reason for parole -  I hope he has nightmares about saying "His head went lop, lop, lop as we cut it off"

Even though that didn't happen does anyone really know why he was paroled?

This is so mean but I hope Bruce Davis thinks he is saved and when he gets to the pearly gates St. Peter says "Lop, lop, lop Brucie" as he tumbles back to hell.

I thought Shorty was all in one piece?? did i misunderstand something? why did they call him shorty when he wasn't short?

Shorty went down fighting. I always had a problem with the cut on the shoulder thing. His autopsy shows nicks to bone around the shoulder area so I tend to believe that it was much more than that.

I always found Paul Watkins in the Hendrickson epic quite disturbing when he was describing this conversation- the smiling and laughing and then the "bloop bloop bloop".

But what is even more disgusting is the fact that they let Shorty remain out there, with the myth of his head being taken off living in full blown color, something they didnt give Shorty a chance to do.

Do you have the dialog (sp?) for Paul speaking about Shorty?

Remember Clem got a lesser sentence because the judge decided he was basically too stupid to act on his own free will.  So he was the only one with a chance at getting out.  I don't believe much of what Bruce says, like Sadie, he was always just kind of around while bad things were happening, and kinda might've had a knife and maybe touched someone with it now and then, but they didn't really mean any harm.

And Katz (the judge now) also made recommendations he be let out.
