one has to ask what caused a young woman who once wanted to become a nun to do these acts and how could she testify like she did? from reading this article i can sense that her testimony was breezy and also with an attitude of "why don't you people get it, we did this for you." how can anyone think she was sane, that is she wasn't legally insane, but on a day to day level she's crazy as one can be.
and I think the point was to shock people. You can hear the Charlie influence in all of those people at that time, even the people who didn't kill. Talk in riddles, answer a question with a question, all total mind fucking. She supposedly stabbed Rosemary to death then. However, in later years Tex admitted that he was the one who actually killed all of them (with a little help from his friends of course).
I noticed that too Peaches. I don't know why I get so excited whenever I hear something new involving this case. I really wish Pat, Leslie, or Linda would write a tell-all book. I know that it would be all self serving, but I still think some sort of truth would come out, maybe...
Its really good to be able to read statements they made on the record in the months and perhaps sometimes years just after the crimes. Esp since they wont speak of them now except when it could be helpful for them to attempt their own brand of "honesty". I dont believe it a stretch at all to say that the closest thing to fact anyone seeking the real "truth" is ever going to get is within documents and articles like these from shortly after. Anything more recent is watered down and self-serving.
