Hi, My name is Andrew and I'm new to this site. I see no one has posted on this topic in a while, but I felt to need to point out how pretty Gibbie looks in this picture. It's a shame one can't see her whole face.
Oh my. You don't have jack and jill in america? What about hey diddle diddle? Lol. I think you could be right about the variation on spellin her name tho. My name is elizabeth but I get lizzie, lizi, beth, bethy and bethie. I get liz too but I don't like that lol.
This is the first time I saw this photo too. I thought I had seen every photo of Abigail there is that is available to the public. Thank you for posting this. George Vreeland Hill
I found this photo yesterday while on the net. I dont remember where and could not find it again this morning. I do not take credit for the find and whould like to give credit where credit is due.
The clock struck 2 hahahahahaha that was a great one, I havent thought of that ryhme in years, Thanks
Abigail Folger...7 years of age. (far left) She went to Santa Catalina school, which was a private school from pre-kindergarden to grade 12. It was located in Monterey, California.
What a sweet, innocent picture ! Look at how the seated girlies have crossed their legs at the ankles. My mom taught that too. Great find Christine, thanks for sharing.
I see the Niagra Falls picture is no longer here!?? What has happened to so many of the photos we used to have? Have they been linked over from other sites that have removed them? I have the Niagra Falls photo somewhere and can repost it if you'd like? That picture you always see of Gibbie and Voy when he's got a hat on and she's got the headscarf was supposedly taken at the same time or around the same time!? That's what I was told but have never been able to verify it?
gosh!!!! thanks eddy! She was beautiful in her own way .Different than Sharon, yet bautiful still the same .....
a pretty face and a beautiful soul. This would be how I'd describe her from what I've read about her. She seemed to have a caring heart.
She looks lovely to me. I'm happy to see so many people here appreciate her beauty (both inside and out). And she might have appeared even better looking in person. Sometimes photographs don't tell the whole story.
That she was going for self help tells me that Abigail knew she had some problems and was working at over coming them. Had her fate not been to be a victim of murder who knows what she'd have accomplished? She has remained one of the most elusive of all the victims killed. I suppose because you don't have family and or friends perspectives on her much!?
