Does anyone know where Nancy lives these days? I sure would like to send her the DVD complete series of Combat. I'm sure it'll bring back great memories. > What a dimwit! :
I do thanks to a great sleuth and internet friend -- however if she is 'outed' she will just disappear quickly - She looks great by the way - amazingly good for a woman of her age. '
What is scary is that there are still people today who propagate such trash. Setting aside for the moment that the shows Nancy discusses did not have as many people killed in them as she would like you to believe, how many millions of people watched these shows and cartoons and never went on to kill anyone? We, as a society, have come to take responsibility away from the individual and blame it on tv, movies, music, or that society did not do enough to help this person succeed. The casual way in which Nancy states so 5 or 6 people were killed, big deal only serves as an example that while most Family members did not actually kill anyone, their value of another person's life was minimal, and as such, they were, and some still are, dangerous to all.

It's almost like she feltt left out because she wasn't in on the killing and this 'enviroment' crap that they bat around, expecially Sandra Good, is them trying to show that they love 'humanity', so what's the big deal if only a few die.

I must say, Nancy presented a good argument. But I'm always bothered by their use of the word "you". "We are what YOU have made us" It's not my fault, nor was it Sharon, Jay, Voy, Gibby, Stephan, or the Labiancas. Very strange justification, always blaming "you". The "reflection" concept is what sunk into those CHILDREN's minds the most.
yes, those generalities'you' and 'your children' as if 'everybody' of their generation was exactly like them. Charlie does that too when he tells inteviewers and parole boards what 'you did to me' etc. Probably where they got it from.
