There is a taped interview with Larry Melton, AKA White Rabbit, and the Inyo County Sheriff's Office where he talks about Habe being around Spahn's and other murders that occured in the desert. He told them in the 90's about the three teenagers killed behind the cabin at Barker Ranch. He said they were buried about 6 feet deep. The video footage of the last "dig" showed them only digging about 3 feet. The reasoning was that most clandestiine graves aren't any deeper than that. Can you believe that? All that expence of going out there and then half-ass the operation!
