1) Knew Shorty for 2 years. 2) Last time Juan saw Shorty was sometime shortly after the raid. 3) Juan describes "The Last Supper" at Myers Ranch a) during this evening Charlie said that Shorty had been ratting to the police. b) Charlie then confesses to Juan about killing Shorty., c) Manson said Shorty got hysterical and then Clem cut his head off with a machete d) manson further described for him the joy he had when he stabbed someone 4) Manson had one of Shorty's guns in hispossession during this confession. (he said Bill Vance had the other one) 5) Manson told Juan that he had 7 notches in his gun. 6) Juan relates various incidents at Barker Ranch re: his fear of Manson. (These have already been related during the Tate La Bianca trial) 7) One evening at Spahn Ranch (after Juan returned from Barker's) Clem told him, "If anybody asks you about Shorty, he went to San Francisco." 8 ) Juan makes good ID of Shorty's two Colt .45's a) Juan says that one of the guns was the one Manson had the night of the "Last Supper".
