Jay and Jane Fonda

I found a great story in several different books about the Fonda family and in Roger Vadim's autobiography....apparently there was a party at the Cielo house (yeah, I know) and after awhile Jane's then husband, Roger Vadim, went looking for her.  She'd been gone for over half an hour.  He couldn't find her and somehow got the idea she was in a bathroom.  He knocked and knocked, but didn't get an answer.  So the housekeeper (no name mentioned) came along and knocked too.  According to Roger, the housekeeper asked what was going on in there and said for the door to be opened.  When it did, out came Jane looking all rumpled and disheveled.  She glared at Roger and said "I hate it when something's half finished."  Following her out of the bathroom was....yep, Jay.

If it was anyone other than Hanoi Jane it would indeed be shocking. Sadly this is totally in character for her. >:D

Well there's quite a few others in Hollywood in that time who would fit the bill. And yes, it sure was in Jane's character.

[/quote]Since I read it in several different books including one written by her then husband, I think it's safe to assume that it's true! ;D

(the funny thing was that her husband referred to him only as "J," gee, that really disguised him, didn't it?  LOL)

Okay, was this supposed to have taken place on Aug. 8, 1969?  I was a little skeptical, however, I chuckled, because, OMG , how EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I guess if it was in several books, it must be true, then.

My question is: Did Jay have his whip in there with them????????? >:D  I KNOW! I KNOW!!!!  I am now reciting thre Larry the Cable Guy thing when he says he sorry and starts praying. ;D  Just had to do, I'm naughty, sorry.

    Shaaaaame on you, BB!! ;)

This supposedly took place on Aug. 5th, the night of the alleged beating of the drug dealer.  (in one of the books, it claimed it happened at the beach house, but I'd believe her husband's version)

Jay could've been kinky with me any time!  LOL ;D

Loved it - tells a lot about both of them, huh?

the first time I read it, it made me laugh, but I was skeptical. Then I kept coming across the same story and when it was in her husband's book.  Well, that lends much credibility to the story.  Jay was single, Jane had an open marriage so I guess they figured "why not?"

All I can say is, "WOW!"

It puts Jay in a difficult position if he's listening to Sharon talk about Michelle Phillips, one of her BFFs sleeping with Roman, when Jay is sleeping with one of his friend's wives in SHARON'S bathroom, yet!!!!  Was it the bathroom right as you enter the front door or was it one of the other bathrooms?  I can't recall what you said, GP.
