Is this just a guess or do you have some other info to suggest he's related? Other than thinking his FB pic looks similar and last name related to the case? CM changed his looks so many times, everyone looks like the Wooly Hophead at some point whether they like it or not!
This was a major quandary for me to determine whether Joel was the father of baby Ivan. It wasn't helped by Sandy later publicly dismissing the notion, and yet offering no explanation for why she included Joel as the father on the birth certificate. Equally, it appears strange that Ivan would still bear the Pugh surname. Everyone I spoke to from the Pugh camp strenuously dismissed the claim that Ivan was Joel's son. After an enormous amount of detective work, I came across Joel's best friend at the time, a gentleman by the name of Jim Balfour. He provided the following quote which seems to go some way to explain events. Jim Balfour: “She was visiting, and she was pregnant, and she wanted Joel to either marry her or say they were married, because she was going to use his name as the father, and that’s what she did… My understanding of it is that she probably thought that with the things that Manson’s people were being charged with, that it would look better if Manson weren’t the father of the child, and that she would use Joel as a respectable person… However, Joel’s response to Sandy’s request was clear; “No way.” Joel story is here... http://joelpughcharlesmanson.blogspot.com/ and I'm happy to answer any questions if I can. I debated all day with myself, whether or not to let this stand. I am still having the debate some of the people here as well. Any thoughts on this? Ivan did nothing to anyone and seems to have gotten on with his life just fine without being associated with this at all. Since he can be found easily on facebook by all, there is where my question in it all lie. I found myself in the middle of something with Sev's one comment that I really just dont care to be a part of truly. It was brought to my attention where the information supposedly came from and I refuse to take part in the antics that someone is trying to drag me into. Antics, yes antics. Instead of trying to drag me into stuff for Christs' sake, really, check your own back yard for a shit disturber. So, please, have respect for what was built here, and leave me and my site out of the antics and games. Thank you.
