Jay Sebring's Funeral. I remember reading a story told by Neile McQueen that, while at Jay's funeral, some guy stood up by his casket and started chanting or something. Apparently the guy was removed. Does anyone know if they ever found out who this was, what he was chanting and why he was doing this? I've never heard of a follow-up on this story. (I think this happened before the actual funeral started, but I'm not sure)
I have the two pages scanned. I saved it as a PDF, and a TIFF. What are the steps to upload these pages? Or is there a better way?
Was reading Sammy Davis autobiography this week and he has an anedote about going to a club and crashing a coven 'ritual' while the group were chanting - he says that after the soiree a person came up to him and removed their hood - it was Jay Sebring. Sammy Davis toyed with the idea of joining but he talked to Crowley about this and AC told him - don't dabble in this unless you are very serious because it can lead to things you might not want to be involved with- I wonder if the upset funeral guest might have been someone Jay was involved with - this is the person I've read that gives an exact story of Jay's involvement in a coven - the other stories in biographies and the 'news' seem to be second hand -
Courtney I have never seen Sammy Davis' autobio but what I do know about the OTO they would never hold any serious gathering where outsiders could possibly see or be involved with the activities. So this would mean that what he might have seen was a group of wannabes. When did Davis say this happened? Crowley was dead in 1947. So.........
Perhaps. But then who would talk to dead animals? 0
the Ghost of Christmas past?? ;D
I'm so sorry - it was Anton LeVey - however, after reading Sammy's autobiography I'm sure he thought he could talk to dead animals! He got weird there for a while! I took it back to the library, but I found excerpts from it on line on goggle books (prohibits copy) - it's called "Gonna Do Great Things" - the incident happened in February 1969 - Davis ran into some actor friends at a private club called the Factory in LA - he rode with them to a party - when he got there there was a gathering with people in masks sporting one long red fingernail and a naked woman chained to an alter decked out in red velvet. He says "I had read enough about it to know they weren't really Satanist, they were BS artists - and they had found a way to blank each other. And get stoned. And it was all fun and games and dungeons and dragons as long as the the 'chick' was happy and nothing sharpher than a dildo stuck in her." Anyhow, Davis joined in and afterward that is when Jay revealed himself to him. He continues "I also knew Jay was a little weird" But so was Davis who continues that he was fascinated by evil, he was not deterred when he ran into AL in SF later on -and was warned that it was nothing to mess around with - however, he says that he continued bedcause of the bodacious and shocking aspect and the group sex and even painted his fingernail red - then he went experienced a happening that 'went too far into the sadomasochistic" he bought some fingernail polish remover and got out of it - Wonder if that happening that went too far was the incident involving the buggering by Frokowski? What do you think? While in London, the Tate murders occurred - he says "I knew I had been pushing my luck" - That's probably an understatement...LOL M
That's a goggle for a google - 0 Interested? It's simple - just goggle or google yourself, "Why all you have to do is put your fingers together and type - you do know how to type don't ya'?" >
Nope! All I ever dun was grajiated 6th graid. Onlie took me 12 yeers! Wanna heer me cifer? You didn't answer my question about Kitty Kelly.
This should get you going, I read where Kitty Kelly has written an expose on the Brotherhood - I'll have to check the index under the W's and see if I see you there...
Just answer the question. You can't get me going, when you attempt to insult me (or whatever else you may try to do), I just consider the source.
What a compliment Whitehorses...if you could see me you would consider many things...cause I ain't bad for an old dame - I'm still a diva and still gorgeous after all these years...gosh that should be the lyrics of a top 40 hit! > But if you really want the answer the book itself is easy to find and read most of it right on line for FREE! The story told is on page 237 to be exact - Gonna Do Great Things: The Life of Sammy Davis, Jr By Gary Fishgall and Sammy Davis Edition: illustrated Published by Simon and Schuster, 2003 ISBN 0743227417, 9780743227414 430 pages A major reappraisal of the life of legendary entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr., Gonna Do Great Things is at once an intimate portrait and an exuberant celebration of a wholly American icon. Through his multifaceted talent and personality, Sammy became one of the most magnetic and contentious figures in modern entertainment history. His outstanding talents as a dancer, singer, actor, impressionist, and comedian, combined with his close association with megastars and his interracial marriage, made him a celebrity in the truest sense.
Was that so difficult? BTW I don't see a compliment there, but I guess you have to invent them where you can. As for considering things, let's keep it a mystery, shall we?
Dear Whitehorses...To paraphase Elizabeth Bennett - "When you get in a better humor you might be invited to my picnic!" Yawn! (Sorry Jem...don't run to Pride and Prejustice, I may have made that quote up to suit my own purposes.)
