http://victimsofpsychopaths.wordpress.com/traumatic-bonding/ A little disturbing to see today, after having a dig round the family wiki pages that several editors with real expert knowledge have been ganged up on and banned. And the pages they have worked on for several years are now being reconfigured to much earlier versions. But while there I got interested in the prevailing theme of the misplaced loyalty he inspired, and still does. Anyone heard of this James Manson wacko I just tripped over - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Mason_(National_Socialist) Apparently not content to launch ATWA for greenies, helter skelter for prosecutors, and run his own eclectic religion giving himself power over life... Charles will is man son is the name, yada yada yada... the spider continues to empire build with this Universal Order hate legacy, and try to leave a great mark on the world. Logo is not bad aesthetically with its sun sign swastika and scales of jjustice, but I somehow feel he missed his calling - dictator of marketing. But I stray as it's getting late. The question of the day is (drum roll) how many Mansonites had traumatic bonding. Below is my guess based on behaviours and known level of exposure to violence or humiliation. Yes :flush: Mary Brunner, Pat Krenwinkel, Susan Atkins, Tex Watson, Lynne Fromme, Dianne Lake, Kitty Lutesinger, Ruth Ann Moorehouse Unsure or 1/2 way there :zingy: Sandra Good, Barbara Hoyt, Clem Grogan, Nancy Pitman, Brooks Poston,Paul Watkins No insufficient exposure /personality not disposed due to early attachment disorders or sociopath :spank: Kathryn Share, Leslie VH, Bruce Davis, Linda Kasabian, Bobby Beausoleil Can't think of other key inner group names this late, though sure I've missed some. I'm avoiding sexism here as it is usually women seen as suffering trauma bonding brain deadness. But the guys have long put their hand up in this case.
Good god, others only concur that Lynne was checked out? And what of this awful essay by someone of apparent high education, like Mary Brunner. She was a history major which must explain why Manson found her interesting. Whoever wrote this essay (it is a Harvard academic a quick google suggests) suffers malignant optimism, if not sockpuppet syndrome. With selective evidence sampling they undergo contortions to bring us to the conclusion that when Manson suggested multiple murders - he was as usual just joking... just playing mind games. But then like all "great" leaders" such as Martin Luther the people misunderstood. And now he is the replacement for keeping previously keeping blacks inside just to settle our fear of the unknown, of shadows. http://kaganof.com/kagablog/2008/10/05/the-american-meaning-of-charley-manson/ Yes it's all clear to me now. It was a practical joke gone horribly wrong. How could I not have seen this, is it a comment on the fact my degree is not Ivy League? Oh how devastated Good Charley must have been when he went to Cielo to see what his children had done. He must have needed smelling salts, and a quick ph call to Mummy. Surely thats what killed her. No mother of god likes to watch their boy go down the misunderstood martyr path :sos: .
