When was this movie filmed? There is the interview with Bruce Davis (talk about bizarre), was this before the time when he went into hiding? Who is the man with the bald head and strange sideburns shown during the Clem scene? Is that TJ? I thought it was, but he always seemed to have a full beard. The desert scene with the dune buggy - who are those people? Person driving with helmet on backwards? Any information about Phil Phillips?
In the second movie, Bruce makes another appearance I believe when he was supposed to be in hiding. So, it must be pretty darn close. I need to rewatch it for the helmet backwards person. The bald guy is TJ...there is a priceless scene in the second one where he just annoys the crap out of Mary Brunner. (Help. We all like to help. 8) )
What are your thoughts on the 2nd Hendrickson movie? (Inside the Manson gang). Is that the documentary you mentioned where TJ annoys Mary? That Clem was one spaced out person - talk about scary..... Books I have read mention that he parroted just about everything Manson said, and it is certainly obvious from that clip. How did the movie come about? Did the family profit from it?
To me, I liked the first one better. The second one had a lot of hype to it about what it was going to be when it came out (like it would have all the answers), but to me looked like "outtakes" from the original. For some reason, and I forget why, Mark Ross hooked up Hendrickson to film it. As far as I know, the Family never profited.

His house is where John Haught aka Zero aka Christopher Jesus was killed and right up the road from the Straight Satans hang out on Clubhouse Drive. How did he become involved with the Family and where did he go?
I've always wondered where and when the Manson speech in this film was done? The long speech where he talks about 'Sneaking in the county jails'..etc, if not mistaken that speech is in this movie right? If so when was it done, if he was in jail when and how was he accessed to give this kind of statement? Or was it before arrested? Or maybe after convicted? When was the movie in general filmed, during the trial? This is the speech I mean: Charles Manson speech Is this in the Hendrickson movie? Haven't seen it in a while. Or is this some kind of overdub fake? Certainly sounds Manson-esque but who know.

I'll watch it again and see what I can pick up, if anything and post it later. Creepy- That was in the Hendrickson movie. I was trying to find the whole "brown" segment at one point for I figured there had to be more to it. I had asked Paul Krassner (who is a great guy) about it, and he said that he believed that Phil Ochs filmed the segment during an interview or something like that. Phil Ochs passed away and thusly I do not know where to search now.
So the guy with the sideburns is TJ. Often wondered about that and now come to think of it, I can see the resemblence in the Geraldo show segment of the 90's TJ. Thanks.
