Just want to wish everyone on here a Happy Thanksgiving! Just for fun, we should put at LEAST one thing we are thankful for this. If you have more than one thing to be happy for, then put it down. Here is mine: I am thankful I found this website, made friends from all over, have been enlightened and had my eyes opened to other ways of seeing things and for my family, kids and grandkids, with one on the way in a few weeks, although I still think I'm too young to be a grandparent. You ARE too young. Trust me! I am thankful my son is home safe and finished with serving his country and that his brother will be home for Christmas.
It seems people keep stretching this holiday out, further and further, each year. So before you all get away, I just want to wish everyone a safe, blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful to pass another year cancer free. I am thankful for the family I have left, but I still miss my Pa. I am thankful to have a job in a place where everything we do is apreciated. And we do it because we care, not because we have to. I am thankful for the cute little nun who volunteers weekly at my place of employment. We talked a bunch today, and somehow by just seeing her face weekly, I feel better about things and life. To her- I love you more than you know and your presence means the world to me. For the smiles and the laughter and the understanding, I will always be grateful. I am grateful to everyone here.. It has been one helluva a year and throughout it all, you have hung with us, showed your support and kept the forum rolling in a way I never dreamed possible. To you all, thank you. And may we continue to learn and grow and disagree in a respectful manner. We are all human, we disagree, it doesnt make anyone more right than anyone else. But the bottom line is respect. I am thankful for the health of my little girl, who although she has type 1 diabetes, is doing very well, and I also give thanks for my sister, who is now in remission. Everything else in my life is gravy. (But I am very grateful to be employed!) All in all, I feel very blessed. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
