TODAY MONA WOULD HAVE BEEN 58 YEARS OLD!! SHE WAS MURDERED AT JUST 22, HAD HER WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF HER--ALL THESE YEARS LATER I THOUGHT THE PAIN WOULD SUBSIDE SOME, AND IT HAS. i USED TO FIND MYSELF CRYING AND THEN I'D REMEMBER, ITS MAY 20th MONAS BIRTHDAY-THE SORROW IS LESS, AS IS THE ANGER TOWARDS THE KILLER WHO MESSED UP SO MANY LIVES WITHOUT A CARE. IT GIVES ME HOPE THAT POLICE ARE BRINGING KILLERS TO JUSTICE DECADES AFTER THE KILLINGS==BUT I MISS MY SISTER AND GLAD SHE SUFFERS NO LONGER.
38 years is a long time to wait for facts / justice. I'm sure more would inform on murderers and more would confess to it if they only got rid of the death penalty. A pity Priests aren't allowed to disclose deathbed confessions too, whoever did this must have or will need to oneday tell someone - so I think your keeping this case alive on the net tho a long shot keeps the prospect there of fishing something up. Looking at a few predatory serial type killers they do have confidantes or girlfriends etc that are not on their "hunting" versus dating card.
I agree that I might not find out in my life time who killed her, however I will no one day who and what happened and so I will continue to post. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
