Gypsy's (Oct.1965) failed but pretty charming folk rock foray 'Aint It?, Babe' credited to non de plume Charity Shayne - sadly sans violin...

I only own the Autumn Records compilation I ripped this from but I'll be working on trying to get the B side from the owner of the original scanned 45...

Nice and spookily appropriate wording, "it's a little bit sad to find out you been used - aint it babe"; you enter what you think is an early girl band and end up, yes well.

i think gypsy was one of the more interesting women (she was twenty-seven when she joined) and i don't know why she was attracted to manson and the family-maybe another true believer. i wish her book would come out, she been talking about it for over fifteen years. does anyone know anything about it? ms. share if your reading this just self publish it and/or put it out as an e-book, it will sell to everyone interested in manson, the family and you.
