Just thought the media hype was so similar between CM and DK to basically demonize leaders, militarise situation and re- enforce the morals of society at large.

You know, the military governments in the 1970s in Argentina and Chile are on that list too .. in significant numbers. Chile was worse in some respects because it was all bankrolled by the US who didn't want a democratically elected president (Allende) because hey, guess what, he was a communist. So they herded up very dissident into the football stadium in Santiago de Chile and bang bang - 40,000 young people less. Another 30,000 'disappeared' in neighbouring Argentina - their pain was at least self-inflicted.

End of memory time (some things never go away). I donate my coconut to the forum - we can chill it, slice the top off, top up with rum (Havana Club will do nicely) and ice cubes and pass it around for a cyber cocktail. No bogarting, please.

You are right of course Free (not all ) and it was not my intention to be offensive or rude and I apologise if I did .

My point was the comparison in the the rhetoric used by the Media in '69 to describe Charles Manson/The Family and in '93 to describe David Koresh/ The Branch Davidians.

How about the millions of victims --- through legislature within the Third Reich, under the leadership of Adolf Hitler? He was not only racist but a devout believer in eugenics......he was politically very far right, conservative, and extremist......

Also the The Third Reich 'cut their murderous teeth' by killing the mentally ill, disabled, and those deemed unfit to their Aryan ideals......
