And another miracle -the car waas impounded during th ranch raid, the license plate GYY435 registered to a John or Orville Kidd, 517 1/2 Washington St., Venice..the car was impounded and stored at Howard Sommers Towing, 7252 Deering St., Canoga Park. Swartz was arrested for grand theft auto during the raid. So they were driving around in the unimpounded "stolen" vehicle with the same stolen plates on it the night of of Tate slaughter?????
Thanks for the posts catscradle77 ...very interesting... so RW said it was around 1 am he heard water noise...!!!damn...it was then a few minutes after the murders, they had not changed their clothes, but it was dark. Very strange RW had those reaction to throw away the paper , he thought they were college students going home after a patry in Beverly Hills ? or some lost tourists from Texas ? Of course , I do not blame him, but if something like that would have happened to me , I think I would be quite disturbed...what I mean is such horrendous savage killings hapening one mile away, and at the same time , same evening ...he must have read the papers the next day and after and the time of the murders be known approximately...and he did not react ?!!!
:-* for the blueness, and I am still digging...something isnt right, I mean ID them for being tall? And having a friggin flashlight to shine on a plate but you dont shine it on them, especially a group of them..and, who the hell wakes up cuz the water is running? And the whole Swartz car being with the cops impounded and yet used as a murder tranportation vehicle? Who got the car out of impound? It says that Shorty bailed Swartz out in the one document I have and posted...
Okay-the raid was after the murders...lol...getting down offa that soapbox...but it is just weird that the story "Linda had the valid drivers license so she had to go" when they were driving around in a car with bad plates???? I think that Linda myth just fell apart...
Okay-lets play story time shall we? This Cat likes stories... Let's make a wide assumption, that in 85% of the time, Manson tells the truth. Manson, in the interview with Bill Murphy, states he went to Hinman and settled the score for all and left, by getting Hinman to basically pay what is owed. Manson also states Gary, worked as a narc, and was into some other shiat. Manson then states that Bobby told him, even though Gary said all was square, Gary said he was gonna go get Manson. So Bobby killed him because he felt Gary was breaking his word and Manson stood the ground for him. So, we call all done in that one. We have Tex ripping off Crowe, and Manson coming to the so called rescue. Now, in street, Tex now owes Manson. We have Tex dealing drugs, to his own admission, before moving to the Ranch. And we have them knowing people at Cielo and being there swimming in the pool etc. Did they know Melcher had moved out-yes, for they stole his telescope from the new addy he had. Anyone pick up the story, was Tex's deal on the CD, and maybe Manson payback was Leno, mob ties, bank ties, dirty dealings...why were there all the military type phones, weapons and dune buggies on the ranch with a felon, and the underage girls...and no one did anything?
I always wondered how they financed the build up of their fortress at the ranch. How much can a group steal before doing some real time in jail? It seemed like whenever any of them were arrested, the charges never stuck. And didn't stolen credit cards have limits in those days? And Charlie seemed surprised when a couple of the girls were actually arrested for using a stolen card at Sears. It was like they just let them go every time they were arrested.
Very valid points. Even though not outwardly extravagant in life style, it still took some funding. I haven't felt blue for a while...sniffle, and it makes me sad. :'(

[/quote] Here we go catscradle77... yes I like the beginning of the story...let's see...the Tex-Crowe ripp off and "rescue of CM" was the start of HS almost...saying that CM thought he killed Crowe and sooner or later he was going to go back to jail. The GH-BB was drug-money related and somehow went too far...and again CM knew he was going to jail...end of july 1969 CM knew he was getting in jail...again ! and as a nobody....again... after that, my understanding of the CM psyche make me think the rest was his personal legacy to the world , that is,... scare the s*** out of Hollywood and the world and at the same time be himself recognized as an individual by the world... Did CM new STP would be at CD when he suggested to take a change of clothes...and follow TW ? ...for me yes definitly ! nothing to do with a drug related burn...jealousy... idem for LLB...he remembered his argument with him in 1968 and wanted him to pay... (I wonder if LLB recognized CM when CM entered the LB house... probably !) ...
Many thanks and a multitude of blessings for you :-* Well, then, why did Leno let him in the house? If you saw Cm on your doorstep at that hour of night, being in fear from the slaughter the night before, would you open your door?? And why then were RLB keys and purse in her car? (and thanks again-I wondered if you had wandered off and forgot the blueness, but alas, you must have a life outside of the internet : )
LLB did not let CM enter the house...CM was in comand...he entered the house forcefully, he wasn't welcome, CM forced his way in and tied up the couple in order to facilitate the despicable murders he suggested... For RLB keys etc , she just forgot and was tired and ready and happy to go to bed...no drug burn or else...jealousy...
I have been happy and tired and in need of my bed, and I in fact have left my door open, so I do undertstand that one-but could she be forgetful in the state of fear she was in according to the newstand man? Granted she could have been so preoccupied in thought, that she indeed did those things. CM said in the one interview, that the True house was used for parties and they would go next door on an old couch (when the house was vacant) and do their thing. And one time, not knowing the LB's were there, wandered on over to party down, and that is what caused the confrontation with LB. Do you think this is plausible? And there were rumors of RLB dealing drugs-agree or disagree? And do you think her vast fortune came from her stock investments? If not, then where did a waitress turn shop owner acrue such a vast fortune? And alas, angeLos, do you think that CM has gained what he so was jealous of? He has the fame, and maybe in his eyes, even though it is not for a postive force, it is fame nontheless.
Ugh..... Catscradle, I should have given you yellow. That is more suitable. Sorry for the interruption. LOL
