When the papers are telling of Gary been tortured, does it conatian only the beatings he got from Bobby with the Gun and the pain he got from Manson slashing his ear, or it is known of other kind of torture he went? Was he abused by either Bobby of the girls other than what has been published?

And regarding the sewing - James Whitehouse, Susan's Husband, told me recently that it was Susan who was nursing Gary and tried to sew his cut and Mary went out to buy the banadages and dental flose. So who's telling the truth?

    Um...does it really matter?
Cuz someone should have gone for help...

Well, yes, it does matter because it has never been discussed or detailed.
Garry had been abused and assaulted - psychologically as well as physically, but torture is a to put someone in physical and psychological pain sytematically. Is that kind of torture existed, and if so, what kind of torture, and who did it?

I think you are taking the word torture too literally...I think the correct thing is that he was held for a few days and ended up dead..I mean that is enough torture dont ya think?

Yes, but so is every kidnapping and nobody call a kidnap torture to be as that. The word "torture" has much more stonger meaning because it is about inflicting pain and terror systematically. So either it was an exagerration by the papers and the different writers (in order to paint the Manson members - especially Susan as cruel and vicious), or it was indded so vicious they won't tell it in order to preserve Gary's honor.

Since Mary went out to buy the medical stuff, she's the one who got the chance to call for help or to notify someone. This college graduate didn't do any of this.
Why? Bobby wans't that influential on the girls like Charlie and the girls weren't told to kill anyone - it was Bobby who got the instructions from Charlie, so why did she didn't do anything?

From both accounts Bobby never got instructions from Manson to go to Hinmans. Once at Hinmans the story goes that Manson showed up, sliced Gary and said to bobby to be a man.

Never gave all and out instructions-but the meaning was inmplied.

Torture I think was just used for the lack of better term, for there was no markings or anything to suggest that the man had be tortured except for the obvious stab marks etc.

I believe Manson told him to go there to get Hinman's $$ but past that nothing specific and he went armed.

If he wasn't going to kill Hinman, he wouldn't have taken the gun with him. This is was his payback to Hinman after Gary let him stay with him and essentially fed him on his devices, while Bobby had nowhere to go.
