Does anyone know any details of her funeral.was she buried or cremated?..if buried..where? Looked around on the net and cant find any info on this.

Cremated - there was a largish beautiful service, invites were whittled down from hundreds that wanted to attend (she helped so many)to just 60 respectable and reformed community members, due to the small venue. No sign of "the family" as that was not who she became. Time moved.

Knew about the cremation, but thought that her husband didn't want the funeral advertised to the media or to the ghoulish public because he didn't want his wife's final resting place known? Gosh, again, I learn something new everyday. :hooray:

Was this just a memorial service? In the article that was on here somewhere, it stated that her remains were on his desk at his house.... I got the impression that he was going to leave them there....? Perhaps, I read more into that than I should have? It was the article that someone found on her website, about how they met and the story of their time together....... Where did anyone read about the funeral? I would like to read about it..... [IMG]

“I didn’t have any plans for the future that didn’t include Susan,” he says, stepping into a living room filled with memories of his wife—a room she had never seen. One wall is lined with her paintings, another with framed photographs of her. Legal files from her final parole hearing are piled in his kitchen; a half-dozen of her Bibles are stacked on his bookcase. On his desk, two roses top a brown plastic box holding her ashes. The space is pleasant but cell-like—his sofa is a narrow cot, his possessions are neatly arrayed.

It was a typical memorial service, with anecdotes, memories etc, held on the outside. It's not recorded anywhere, I just heard from an attendee, and was pleased it was so nice.
