Looking for more investigative pics such as where the prints were found, the investigators, where were the dogs found in the residence, the slit screen where they entered, Tex and Katie's prints, etc. All these sites have the same ones. This site seems the best of all, I'd appreciate the help and will help out where I can.
The dogs were kept in a room off to the south end rear of the guesthouse - (but who knows why they didn't bark even in there unless they were thrown drugged meat) The slit screen was at the back of the house close in the nursery area - it was close to the master bedroom but accessible to the living room - however there is always a possibility that the alit screen is staged for a robbery affect - One of Tex's fingerprints was on the gate going out of the property. Katie's palm print (and possibly partial finger print) was on the louvered doors leading out to the pool from the master bedroom (evidently the route where Gibby ran)
If I remember correctly, Sharon had the dogs penned up because she had found that little kitten and she was afraid of one of the dogs getting ahold of it.
Anyone seen this magazine article before of the actress Samantha Eggar when she lived at Cielo Drive.I dont know the name of the magazine or the year it was published but its the first time ive seen the photo of her in front of the Fireplace and outside near the pool.
Very interesting photos. Looks like the same main pieces of furniture (chairs, sofa) in those photos that were there the ill-fated night a few years later (which makes sense since it was a rental property). Chairs have same pattern as those in crime scene photos. Sofa (and likely the piano) look like the same ones as well. Hard to look at those innocent pictures and imagine the horrors that would eventually unfold there.
Thanks for the posting Cram! Really good find. That house had a lot of history before the Polanski's became residence. It be fascinating to put together a complete list of all of the residence.
