Isn't "Easy Charles" a mistake? It's how he signs his letters: easy, Charles Manson (well, that's the gist of it, not sure if he uses commas, or writes his full name). As in, take it easy. I don't think he calls himself "Easy Charles".
I think this is one of the most coherent. lucid interviews I have ever heard from CM. Maybe because he had agreed to talk about music rather than other stuff? Normally any CM spiel makes my head hurt, but here he sounds 'normal', grounded and focussed. Jem
