Hard to imagine, considering Charlie claimed that death was just another part of life.  :D

Ye wasn't death a beautiful thing, you'd think he'd be excited.
  4. Whitehorses New Member

I guess it was only exciting if it was happening to someone else.  ;)

That looks more like Bruce Davis. Charlie was too acquainted with prison to look so down. Anybody else think that's Bruce?

    Welcom Dr. Watson..

The nose and the body form, Bruce was stockier, lead me to think that it is Charlie.
  8. emzywemzywoo New Member

I'm pretty sure its Charlie too xx

That's Bruce. Look at the pic of Shinn and Davis under the KILLERS AND CONSPIRATORS section. You will see the identical beard and short haircut on Bruce. Look at the rounded forehead. Charlie had sharp features not rounded. Look at the hairline on the forehead too. Even today Charlie has a straight hairline vs the receding line above both of Bruce's eyes that you see in the above picture.

If U want to talk hairline....check out the close up I posted in the Inyo Co. Arraignments.
It's Manson. No doubt about it.

Actually I started to post your Inyo Co pic of Charlie as proof the above pic was not Charlie. Look at the straight, squared hairline Charlie has at Inyo. Bruce's hairline goes way up on both sides and above his eyes it is curved/rounded. Charlie's hairline is straight across and 90 degs straight down. I was just looking at Bruce in my Manson movie from Hendrickson's 1973 documentary to get a sideward view as Bruce walks down the stairs at the LA County court building. That haircut is Bruce-looking as well. Bruce's hair length was always the same and appeared cut by scissors. His sideburns are devilishly pointed like Spock.

Sorry Jempud I tried copy and pasting the pics in question but it didn't work. I'm learning how the forum features work. That is why I named the forum sections the pics are contained. You should definately find the Into Co pics for they are some of the most revealing pics on the net. Many pics are small and grainy but not those. The pic of a worshipful, adoring, smiling Squeaky looking at the messianic Charlie is almost scary. A pic is worth a thousand words.

Jempud also look at the kitchen pic at Spahn Ranch under the Police Reports section.

The kitchen pic corroborates a great deal of statements I have read in interviews.
That run down kitchen was where all the food was cooked that they scavenged from grocery store dumpsters. Yummy?........ew!

If you can imagine the bad food, run down housing. stolen cars everywhere, bikers showing up for booty, bad acid trips, flys everywhere, arrests for credit card fraud, Shorty Shea ratting them out, even George Spahn trying to evist them, cops busting the joint all the time then you can see that Charlie and the Family had their backs up against the wall. The pressure was too much and the killing started

    Pictures tell stories.

Sorry Dr Watson I still tink its charlie xx

Sorry, Dr Watson and I still agree with Em its Charlie.

The haircut or whatnot Charlie had too and the nose says it all...

Perhaps its not pictures telling stories but stories making pictures.

The conditions they lived in were not the best indeed, but they chose to live there--some of them came from well to do homes or at least fair to midland where there were many more comforts. And for what? Love and companionship, and a heavy dose of Charlie psycho-babble..

Which makes me wonder, if that were me, and I had a choice between my parents babble and Charlie's rants..one with comforts and one without, I think I would have chosen the former, for babble is babble, horseshit is still horseshit but at least one would be comfortable listening to it...

Six that I know off hand had little "choice": Lyn, Sandra and Nancy Pitman all from middle class homes but were thrown out. Even Sandra's Dad finally gave up on her. Look at Krenwinkle too; her roomy/sister was a heroin addict. Van Houten's parents adopted two Korean babies and this profoundly affected Leslie who went from a Queen to a nobody in her own home in one day so she even tried her hand at being a nun but found that life intolerable. Sadie's watches her Mom die a cruel death from cancer when Sadie is 14 and her Dad is alcoholic.

Look hard at the pic of the Spahn kitchen. Is that where you would stay if you had a high end home you could go to? Why do you think they took over Dennis Wilson's nice home?

There - that should pull enough images together to allow the comparison to be made.

Cats, I remember a time when anyone in the world was smarter than my parents.  After the real world got a couple chances to put a boot to my bum, I wised up.  But until that time, they were dumber than ordinary garden dirt.

Although I've never been strung out enough to fall for things like bottomless pits and golden ropes.  ::)  How so many allegedly intelligent young men and women could be so gullible is beyond my scope of comprehension.  Which leads me to believe that most of it was simply not true.
