The paperwork pertaining to the arrest of Charles Manson in 1959 pre Tate LaBianca. As always give me time.
I suppose we'll never know the answer to that intriquing question. Notice CM's occuopation is listed as "Advertising" aka; "Pimping". He was busted with only 50-cents in his pocket. Charlie was NOT a very good pimp. :guard:
No he wasn't. . . he later tried to pimp a clap infested skank (Adkins) and it didn't pan out very well. :run:
Did some work on looking up the 6871 Franklin Avenue address that's listed on arrest report. 6871 is listed as an apartment hotel; it was called the Bienvenue Hotel Apartments. This information is found in a street/telephone directory from that period.
The Dyer Act of 1919 makes transportation of stolen vehicles across state lines a federal offense. I suspect this was the case in this particular instance. Manson was never accused of being the brightest bulb in the chandelier, mind you.
If they wanted him for the Dyer act why was he charged with suspicion of burglary and the vehicle not impounded?
