Has anybody read It Happened in Monterey? It's essentially just a book of photographs of the Monterey Pop Festival, but Elaine Mayes (the author/photographer) went to the Pop Festival with Gibby. If you Google their names, you can find a section of the book where Elaine mentions going with Gibby and even that her sleeping bag was stolen from Gibby's car. Given that they were so close and attended together with their boyfriends, pictures of Gibby might exist in the book. Has anyone read it? The only place I've tracked it down in my area is in the Cleveland Library, but it's 35 minutes away and I haven't made it out there yet. Also, has anyone read the Jerzy Kosinski biography? I imagine Gibby and Voy are mentioned a few times.
There are three references of Gibby in Jerry's book http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=Df1aAAAAMAAJ&q=%22Jerzy+Kosinski%22&dq=%22Jerzy+Kosinski%22
And on to Elaine http://www.montereyherald.com/popfestival/ci_6107821 "For most of us, the festival was a spectacular tribal weekend, a pinnacle celebration of a vision for a way of life. But I also sensed that Monterey Pop meant an end to an era. Maybe this inkling was because my sleeping bag was stolen from Gibby Folger's car in the parking lot of our motel on the last day of the festival"

He has been researching for years. As far as I know right now, it doesnt have a title but I think that we are all in for some good stuff.
most of us here have an interest in both the victims and the 'family' though our hearts go out to the victims and 'their' families.
Don't get me wrong I have an interest but I have two books on the Manson case and I'd like something new to come out.
