This was an experiment, so forgive me if it's a failure, but I've uploaded the audio of the Nelly interview with Dianne Lake- just click on this link and your MP3 download should begin automatically - worked for me... (another screen comes up, ignore that and check your downloads)

Anyone have a date for this?

The hosting site seems slow, so it might take patience...

    First download the file.

Then I believe you can use windows media player to run it.

If not, download Realplayer (the free version) from Realplayer.com  Once that's installed use it to open the original download.

Yes, Nellie was one creepy guy. I kept thinking, why doesn't he let her speak instead of feeding her with the answers to his questions.

I'm not a total fan of Gypsy's but he really betrayed her (the church episode) and then gloated over it. And he betrayed Cappy too in her desert visit.

So no RIP for Nellie from me.

He betrayed them all-he was out for a quick buck for himself. He also betrayed victims family members as well.

Relations with Nellie only lasted as long as he needed you for something or could get something from you.

Funny, a pedophile studying a con man and murderers. And condemning them for it.

    Pot, meet kettle.

Who was Nelson accused of being a pedophile with and what was the story behind it all? I have heard this before but just in passing reference. Never heard any of the details.

To convince yourself, and because there's so much crap floating round in cyberspace, if you have 20 bucks to spare you can buy the 1982 transcript from Nelly's pedophile trial from http://www.aes-nihil.com/manson.html

I have just started reading his archived web site. WOW! Talk about obsession.
He is really funny sometimes, such as his comments about Sandra Good. I bet she just hated him.  >:D
  12. catscradle77 Administrator

It is said (and I must clarify this may not be the truth) that Sandy had a hand in bringing this whole pedo Nelson thing to light with James Whitehouse, Susan's attorney husband. (why those two would team up is beyond me, unless to help slay the Nellie dragon).

It is said the reason for this was because Nellie was so busy digging and nosing and telling everyone elses dirty little secrets, that it was time to sling some back at him to show him what it felt like.

    Good point.

Obviously he could not handle it, and what was, at the beginning, an unstable mind, had a complete meltdown at the end.

He could certainly dish it, but he couldn't take it when his own acts came back to haunt him.

You are right about that ~ massive breakdown! I have no sympathy what-so-ever for a sex offender, so good for her for exposing him. Why in the world would a sex offender put himself in the lime light like that? Not smart.

Because, I feel, he didnt think anyone would catch him. His real name was Russell William Nelson or something to the effect, he plead no contest. I think he felt safe by that and often said that indeed he was found not guilty.

Any good legal mind can explain the difference between no contest and not guilty and there definately is one.

I had many dealings with Nellie, and spoke to him on the phone before this whole shitstorm hit. When I found out about it, and confronted him with his own actions (his excuse was that he had the teenagers in his hotel room because their feet were dirty and they wanted to use the pool so they had to wash them, and then he got a headache or something that caused backrubs or something or another...) and I wasn't buying, and we had very distinct words over it, I found myself on the sharp end of Nellie, which anyone who can tell you who has had dealings with him, as long as you agree with him, you are cool...you questioned or disagreed with him, suddenly you were a Manson loyalist etc and evil.

Also, I had his copy of the Greg King book signed by Greg to him and another book on something to do with something Russian. I gave it away--it just felt wrong.

He gave them to me. He and Greg had some kind of falling out over something, and I was surprised to see them in a box of stuff I had gotten from Nellie.

Well, he went way over the edge, esp with the Zodiac murders, IMO. I hate to say it, but at times he almost sounds demented on his old web site. Too bad, because I think he had a lot of good info. The trouble seems to be that he made up what he did not have. When a person even starts that, everything they say becomes suspect.

Cats said, He could certainly dish it, but he couldn't take it when his own acts came back to haunt him.

Like they say those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

    And that is it.

From my understanding, and I am not defending Tex Watson-his whole boner with Tex started because Tex wouldn't talk to him.

    Same with Bruce Davis.

And Lady Noel- Nellie's house was so glass, that when it started to crumble and crack, and shard of his own hatred seemed to have killed him. He had gotten a surgery or something and then it all just went downhill for him.

He lived in such hatred and somehow I think, he was drowned in it.

    Maybe self loathing?

And by studying and stalking the Manson family, it made him feel better about himself.

Alas, I remember one call vaguely we had and he brought up the fact the he was ex Secret Service. I do not know how one gets let go or whatever from them, I kind of figured it would be a lifetime gig? But anyways...he was all pumped up for he had/or just had or something, a conversation with Paula Jones. The details are hazy, but it was a weird call indeed.

Then when he thought he was dealing with Ruth and stuff. It got even more bizarre. He would bring up certain things, and certain, uh, side effects of his medications he was on.

It was creepy and gross and always made me feel tainted from a distance.
