    And yes, that is what I was referring to. It was only one theory popping into my head. I can't say it's something I'm going to start throwing around but as theories go, I've heard worse.

    One hears stories of such alot and it would be a possiblity.

    I mean the whole Sanders (grain of salt) "Ask Peter Folger" thing still strikes me as odd for look at all the info about her activities with charities and for Bradley etc that came out. Also, her use of drugs.

    I'm glad I'm not alone in my theory and like I said before, worse theories exist. Like the one where Gibby was funding Manson and he wanted sex off her and then the ones of Voy photographing Atkins in Sharon Tate's pool. If you ask me (I know, no one did) my theory is a bit more realistic.

    Why do we never hear anything about Gibby's life before she moved to NY and met Voy? What was going on in her life that Peter Folger wants to keep so hush, hush about.

    Well maybe nothing much. A degree programme at Radcliffe (where she was in that hot bed of radicalism and debauchery the Gilbert and Sulivan Society), another degree in Fine Art at Harvard and a job in a university library. Some explorations into social work.

    Are we assuming she must have gone off the rails before Polanski introduced her to Frykowsky? If so, why?

    Just wild speculation on my part, and it is easy to fill in gaps with that, and look for reasons that may not be so instead of the simpliest answer of privacy. ;D

    I have only been able to trace back that alledged rumor to Maury Terry-the meeting of Manson and Shea and Folger. Everyone quotes it, it seems, but no one can source it.

    Don't know if it would do any good to see a birth certificate. My husband was adopted and he has two birth certificates. One with his adopted parents info and the other which was sealed and only he could apply for it has his biological parents info on it.

    Never thought of that LadyNoel...but should still probably look. And (just speculating) if it is the case, then we probably wont find squat.

    No amount of digging will find out if Abigail g*v* b*r*h to her 's*st*r' because someone *cough* Peter Folger *cough* has seen to it that no one gets a scrap of his family.

    He can't stop us speculating though.. or can he? What is that strange warm feeling on the back of my neck?
